Memorable Moments:
Cooper is scooting backwards and he is starting to figure out that if he wants something in front of him he has to move in a circle and scoot to it backwards. It is hilarious to watch him and he is so proud of himself when he gets what he wants!
It has been fun to see how fast Cooper is changing and developing. It seems like everyday he picks up a new skill or gets better at another and it is so exciting!
The huge wind storm that ripped through Weber County woke Cooper up at about 5 AM that morning. We were in the nursery when a huge gust of wind shook the whole house and scared us to death. It felt like an earthquake and we thought the windows were going to burst! Thank goodness they didn't and the only damage we suffered was a downed fence in the backyard! We weren't aware at the time but the winds in some nearby areas got up to 104 MPH. It got up to 80 MPR at our home that morning which are considered Hurricane conditions!
We are still managing to travel a little with Cooper and he is fun to travel with. He loves car rides and just goes with the flow. He is so adaptable and stays happy the majority of the time.
Things that Make Cooper Cry:
If we put him on the ground and he wants to be held
Sometimes strangers
Overstimulation- He likes quiet time sometimes
If we leave the room and he wants to come with us
When he's hungry
If he is having fun and the fun stops
When he's not in bed by bedtime
If we stop his feeding before he is full
When he needs a change of scenery
Things that Make Cooper Smile and Laugh:
Being tossed in the air
Certain statements like "Ahh, that was good!" or "I'm serious Cooper"
Dancing to music
When mom and dad dance goofy
Being upside-down and getting tickled
Bath Time
Seeing his bottle and knowing it's time to eat!
Getting startled or surprised
When we imitate his baby language
His Johnny Jump Up toy
When mom tickles him with her hair
Balloons
When he sees something he wants he will bounce up and down, smile and reach for it
When he is proud of himself for doing something new
Seeing us first thing in the morning or after a good nap
He will smile at anyone who will give him attention.
