Giving open mouthed slobbery kisses
Grabbing hair and anything dangly
Being tickled and snuggled
Riding on our legs like a cowboy
Playing parachute with towels and clothes
Catching bubbles
Going on new adventures- He loved the boat and the hiking we did! He is going to be an outdoorsman!
Reading books- They are just starting to engage his attention. He especially likes to hold them and chew on them.
Watching Stefan- Cooper's favorite person to watch is Stefan but he won't smile or laugh at him for some reason. It is funny to see Stefan try though. : )
Sleeping on his side
Memorable Moments:
Cooper loves his cereal and will stick his hand in his mouth to feel the cereal in his mouth. He will also take control of the spoon occasionally and want to do it himself. That usually turns into a mess but he likes to be independent. We have a special bottle for him to feed himself and it's so cute watching him try to put it in his mouth. It is usually hit and miss.
Cooper really does love the outdoors. He is the happiest when we are outside doing things like playing in the grass or the leaves and going on walks. When we went boating we were surprised at how much he liked it and he loves hiking too! It must be the Alaskan blood in him. : )
With it being November we want to express our gratitude to you. We love Cooper more than anything in this world and there isn't a day that goes by we don't think about the amazing people who brought him into our family. You have dramatically changed our life in such a wonderful way and words will never be enough. November 10th and 13th were the birth dates of our twins two years ago and we can't get over how much healing has come from having Cooper in our life. We hope healing can come to you too as blessings come and they surly will because of the quality of people you are. We love you and hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Things that Make Cooper Cry:
When he's hungry
When he's not in bed by bedtime
If we stop his feeding before he is full
When he is on his belly and he can't roll over
If he wants something and tries to get it but it's too far away
When he needs a change of scenery
If he is having fun and the fun stops
If we leave the room and he wants to come with us
Things that Make Cooper Smile and Laugh:
Riding on our legs like a cowboy
When dad makes weird noises that catch him off guard
Being upside-down and getting tickled
Bath Time
Seeing his bottle and knowing it's time to eat!
Getting startled or surprised
His Johnny Jump Up toy- he can't make himself bounce yet but when we do it for him he will laugh hysterically.
He will laugh a lot if we stand behind a door and jump out at him and make a weird noise.
When he is proud of himself for doing something new. When he tries to sit up straight he will give us a big grin and he looks to proud.
Seeing us first thing in the morning or after a good nap
Touching his dad's 5 o'clock shadow
